Lead Infrastructure Engineer
Are you ready to take ownership of modern infrastructure platforms and elevate engineering operations across multiple teams? Join us as Lead Infrastructure Engineer, where you’ll lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure for both internal teams and external clients.
about the role
In this role, you’re responsible for leading infrastructure architecture and operations across projects. This includes owning platform reliability, improving scalability, and defining infrastructure as code practices (e.g., Terraform). You’ll advise teams on hosting strategies across Azure, GCP, and AWS, while also driving platform security, compliance, and cost awareness.
what you do
You’ll collaborate closely with engineering leads and project managers from project kick-off to delivery. Identifying infrastructure needs, improving DevSecOps maturity, and ensuring systems are designed for long-term success. You will also contribute to incident response processes, technical documentation, and shared tooling improvements.
You’ll be part of a growing engineering culture that values autonomy, curiosity, and collaboration. Our infrastructure and DevOps group currently includes multiple engineers with AWS expertise, and we’re now seeking someone who can take a broader lead, working across Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments, and helping us raise the bar in system design, security, and platform reliability.
what you bring
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with leadership skills. You should be able to demonstrate:
Hands on experience with cloud platforms: Azure, GCP, and/or AWS
Experience with implementation of CI/CD pipelines, Github actions and knowledge of GitLab.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform) and platform engineering practices.
Advocate of infrastructure security principles, from secure networking and IAM to data protection and compliance.
Experience designing and implementing observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb, Sentry).
